Media Performance Analyst
AMP is seeking an ambitious and curious Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional who has a passion for data organization, problem-solving, and the "why" behind the data. The Analyst will serve as the foundational engine of our practice - executing the day-to-day data collection, cleaning, and reporting tasks that drive our insights. Working closely with an Analytics Manager, this person will focus on ensuring data integrity and learning how to translate raw numbers into meaningful stories for our clients. The ideal candidate is someone eager to master media reporting and provide essential support to cross-functional teams. This role offers a clear growth path to develop technical skills while ensuring that our team delivers accurate, timely, and organized reporting to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Extract and clean data from various sources to support the maintenance and update of client reports and dashboards.
- Support with the media weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Assist in identifying trends and drafting initial observations for internal review.
- Help internal teams identify the "what" in data trends, providing the foundational work used to build actionable insights.
- Work alongside functional teams (Media, Channel Teams) to provide the necessary reporting and data observations needed for campaign optimizations.
- Assist in the preparation of client-facing presentations and reporting documentation.
- Support the implementation of measurement strategies by helping document KPI requirements and assisting in the build-out of data visualizations.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in media analytics, business intelligence, or a related data-driven role (internship experience considered).
- Foundational experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Familiarity with basic dashboard updates and data cleaning.
- Exposure to digital analytics or media platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, or CM360).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data manipulation and auditing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain data findings to internal team members.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious about how data drives marketing decisions.
