Architect for Integration, Engineering & Security
Responsibilities
- Enterprise integration architecture: Own the architectural direction for the enterprise applications across application portfolios and their business units. This includes:
- Architecture for both custom-built applications and technology platforms
- Support software selection decisions
- Define architecture patterns
- Ensure architecture achieves information security requirements
- Work alongside engineering teams and product teams as an active, embedded partner in delivery
- Enterprise plan platform and AI architecture: Design the end-to-end data flows between commercial and corporate systems and the data and analytics / AI platform. This includes:
- Define flows of business operational data for analytics and management reporting and surfacing analytics data into company applications
- Ensure business systems are designed to support emerging AI use cases
- Define integration patterns for data that keep client and company data secure
- Architect the integration of external industry data sources into business applications
- Integration of security practices and architecture into application delivery: Plan and shape integrations between systems that are secure by design. This includes:
- Collaborate as peer with cybersecurity engineering teams
- Jointly design patterns and delivery approaches for maximizing information security
- Ensure coherent data and integration plans
- Shape plans for phases of application change between parallel implementation programs
- Architecture practice participation: Operate as an active member of the enterprise architecture practice. This includes:
- Collaborate with peer architects across commercial systems, enterprise systems, data/AI, and infrastructure/security
- Build, advocate, and participate in shared governance, architecture standards, and ways of working
- Contribute to keeping the practice coherent and relevant as the organization's technology agenda grows in complexity
- Business domain expertise: Bring working knowledge of retail and consumer packaged goods business processes. This includes:
- Have experience in technology and processes such as sales/customer relationship management, category management, retail execution, and field workforce management
- Build credibility as a technology advisor to business stakeholders based on industry operational reality
- Advise on building shared capability, reusability, and user experience within company applications
Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
- Experience Requirements: 10-12 years experience in relevant field

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Integration architecture between custom / technology platform applications and enterprise resource planning systems
- Data design: Data flows, data model design, master data management principles, and AI technology affinity
- Software selection, pattern definition, and product team partnership
- Enterprise and / or deep solution architecture for custom and technology platform applications
- Business domain expertise, such as retail, consumer packaged goods, field workforce management, services company service delivery, and revenue management
