Specialist Fresh Food

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Fresh Foods who will be assigned to a specific territory of retail locations throughout the Tucson market. This individual will serve as the eyes and ears of the sales team, ensuring products are properly merchandised, displayed, and maintained at store level while building strong relationships with retail department managers.

The Specialist Fresh Foods role serves as an extension of our Key Account Managers and Sales Team, helping ensure execution excellence, product visibility, and customer satisfaction throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Visit assigned grocery and retail locations throughout the territory.
• Ensure products are properly stocked, faced, tagged, and merchandised according to client standards.
• Build relationships with Produce Managers, Meat Managers, and other store leadership.
• Utilize company mobile applications to manage daily assignments and reporting.
• Execute merchandising projects, store resets, seasonal displays, and special assignments.
• Identify and communicate in-store opportunities, issues, and competitive insights.
• Serve as a field representative supporting both customer needs and internal sales initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and completion reporting for all store visits.
• Act as the local point of contact for merchandising and retail execution activities within the territory.
• Support additional customer initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the Tucson territory.
• Comfortable using mobile applications and technology for work assignments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work the following shifts (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail grocery experience.
• Merchandising experience.
• Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience.
• Retail Representative or Field Representative experience.
• Store reset or retail execution experience.
• Experience working in produce, meat, deli, grocery, or related fresh food departments.
• Experience working in customer-facing retail environments.
