Creative Director, Business Development & Marketing
The Creative Director, Business Development & Marketing is an internal-facing leadership role that partners closely with Marketing, New Business, Strategy, and Creative teams to drive agency growth and elevate the brand. This role blends creative direction, brand stewardship, and strategic thinking to shape how the agency presents itself to prospective clients.
The Creative Directoris responsible fordefining creative vision across new business initiatives, ensuring compelling storytelling, strong visual identity, and consistency of voice across all pitch and marketing materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business Creative Direction
- Collaborate with Executive Creative Directors and Group Creative Directors to develop creative concepts for new business opportunities
- Maintain deep knowledge of the agency’s services, capabilities, and value proposition
- Partner with New Business, Strategy, Account, and Creative leadership to align creative output with growth strategies
- Serve as the primary owner of new business content and creative execution
- Craft persuasive narratives that create a cohesive story across pitch materials
- Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with agency positioning
- Develop original, client-ready pitch content tailored to specific client needs
- Package case studies, credentials, and work samples to support agency propositions
New Business Pitch Management
- Manage complex new business pitches from concept through delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution
- Anticipate and resolve pitch-related challenges and risks
- Apply strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple initiatives
- Adapt quickly and work effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing situations
- Proactively identify and apply internal best practices to improve pitch quality
New Business Pitch Delivery
- Clearly articulate the agency’s services, capabilities, and differentiation to prospective clients
- Own the quality and final delivery of RFIs and pitch materials
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and pitch teams
- Understand client business challenges and provide informed creative direction
- Positively influence creative teams in high-pressure new business environments
- Monitor competitive trends and market dynamics and share insights with leadership
- Ensure all new business efforts align with overall agency business goals
