Assortment Analyst — Shape What Shows Up on the Shelf
Do you love finding patterns in data, solving space puzzles, and knowing that your work directly shapes what shoppers see when they walk down an aisle? If you're analytical, curious, and energized by cross-department collaboration, this role is built for you.
We're one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies, helping top food and consumer packaged goods brands get their products into the hands — and carts — of shoppers everywhere. As an Assortment Analyst, you'll be at the center of the strategy that decides what goes on the shelf, where, and why.
What You'll Do
- Drive assortment strategy. Own key deliverables on brand timelines, partnering with multiple departments to bring assortments to life.
- Tailor solutions market by market. Work alongside Category Managers to adapt assortments for regional needs, local items, and unique store clusters — all while staying within national guardrails.
- Turn data into decisions. Flag data errors to the right teams and deliver sharp assortment analytics that support smarter business calls.
- Solve real space challenges. Help Category Managers navigate store space limitations with creative, effective solutions.
- Keep improving the process. Monitor store scanning, evaluate performance at every step, and dig into post-reset analysis to see what's actually working.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent job-related experience
- 4–6 years of experience with Planograms or Floorplans
- Experience with analysis in a professional setting
- Merchandising experience? Great — but not required
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuine curiosity about solving problems
- The ability to thrive under deadlines without losing your organization or your cool
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
This is primarily an office-based role — no heavy travel, no long days on your feet. You'll spend most of your time at a desk, working with data, spreadsheets, and cross-functional partners, with occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs). If you want a role where your analytical thinking has visible, real-world impact, this is it.
Why This Role
You'll have the chance to influence decisions that matter, work with people across the organization, and grow your expertise in space planning and category strategy. If you're intellectually curious, detail-driven, and want a role where insight turns into action, we'd love to meet you.
